Seth Clottey
Biography
The man who displayed the attributes of a future made certain for a young artist, Seth Nii Clottey was born in 1962 in Accra, Ghana where he currently lives and works. Had his education at the Ghanatta College of Art in Accra and has exhibited his work throughout Ghana, West Africa, UK, USA and Japan.
Seth is inspired by the nature, landscape and of people going about their daily lives. His work surrounds a wide range of subjects, from beachscapes through Market Scenes to City Scenes. He exhibits a unique display of passion and commitment in his works, which can be found in private and corporate collections across Ghana, UK, Europe and USA. Unwilling to follow trend or settle for a safest option he express himself in his work challenging standards and boundaries, and holding high the leading torch of his generation on today’s art scene.
